None of my music currently on my iPod is embarrassing, but for some reason I went on a weight loss podcast downloading spree this weekend, and I didn't
know which ones were any good, so I downloaded one or two of like thirty different podcasts, lol. So I'm sure anyone would be like, geez, obsessed much.
But really, I want to find one that I like and stick with just that one. I've already been able to delete two that were way too cheesy.

And yet I've never seen Yentl, but whenever she does those two songs live, I seriously get goosebumps. I love her.

My older sister took voice lessons when she was a teen and her teacher made her practice Yentl songs. I probably heard A Piece of Sky a thousand times as a
kid. She also made us watch Yentl, which I remember not liking, but that might just be because I was a bored kid.
I don't think I've ever heard it live, though. I think I'll go find some clips. |

There's clips from her...I forget if it was 93 or 94 concert. Not the o e on HBO though - same "tour" but slightly different setlist. The HBO
show actually had no Yentl songs. But there's clips from that and clips from Timeless. Both times she duets with the soundtrack recording, but in Timeless
she also duets with a girl playing a young Babs. Kinda cool. I think the reason she did APOS that way was because she couldn't hit the high notes in the
song anymore.

I'm embarrassed to even admit this, but Burning Up by Jonas, even though that rap part is annoying as hell and I fast forward it all the time.
Also Dean Martin "Mambo Italiano," but I'm not too embarrassed over that one. I love his voice. |
