I was asked how I'd handle upset parents. Also, my philosophy on teaching and education as a whole. And where I see myself in five years!

I was asked a lot about state standards, assessments and data, since accountability is huge here. I usually got asked about my philosophy of teaching. Be
prepared to talk about how you would differentiate lessons and include higher-level thinking. I got asked a lot of questions on parent communication and
involvement, also.

I was asked a lot about differentiated instruction, guided reading, and what I used as assessment.
Make sure you bring your portfolio and get them to look through it. I went on so many interviews where I completely forgot about my portfolio. I was interviewing for a lot of leave replacements so I was asked how I would make the transition smooth for the students and parents. |

Thanks guys!
I graduated in May 2008 and still haven't landed anything permanent. There's no teacher jobs here Last year I did a maternity leave for 4 months so
I'm hoping that helps out. I hate interviews!!
