Yvonne started the JJB but Yuku owns it because this is their site. They get money for the adds. The last time I met up with Yvonne and we talked she said she
didn't make money off of the JJB.

I think Yuku owns it now. JJB is one of the largest message boards on Yuku and is obviously a huge cash cow.

Has Yvonne ever thought about creating her own site and moving/rebuilding JJB there? That way she'd be getting money from ads. Kind of like perezhilton.com
but as a JJB-like message board instead.

I think even if you move it to a self serving host with ads it would still be very expansive to host and I am not quite sure that ads will cover the cost.
