I met this guy last night... |

He's a little bit older than me like 25 and I'm 21. He was the first guy I noticed in the bar when I walked in and he followed my group of friends to
the back of the bar. He bought us a round of patron shots. So we chatted for like a good hour about random stuff- what he does (broker), what I do, favorite
things, blah blah. We danced a few times also. I asked him who he was here with and he said a few buddies. He was like, my buddy found out that his friend died
tonight when we got here so he's been down about that. So I was like, well, you should go and keep him company. He was like, yeah, I was just about to get
back to him. He was like, however, I would love to get your number so I can get in contact with you because I find you so attractive and I would like to get to
know you more- what's your class schedule like? Perhaps you would like to do lunch with me sometime next week? So we exchanged numbers and said goodbye.
Then he came to the back a little later, but I was already talking to another guy. He budge in and was like, excuse me and grabbed my hand and we danced. He
was like, I don't want to sound like a creep, but you smell really good. Then he gave me a hug and was like, I just wanted to come back to let you know
that I'm leaving; it was a pleasure to meet you; I will give you a call sometime next week so we can do lunch. He's so hot. He looks like Adam Brody
and he's so well dress and he seems pretty well off. Its so different talking to a guy that's older compared to a guy that's my age-- everything is
so different. Like maturity. I hope he calls!

I'd be turned off by the fact that he was hitting on me while his friend was upset.

If this is the part where we start considering 25 year old guys old mature men, I need to get off this board.

The difference is sometimes the 25 years old know to play the "i'm mature" card at first to get into your pants. the 20 year olds have yet to
learn that.

Real stock brokers don't call themselves "brokers". FYI, they call themselves Financial Advisors.

There is a lot of "like" in your paragraph. He was like, I was like... Sorry, anyway.
I'd say talk with him on the phone but don't get your hopes up too fast. Make sure he's not just wanting a piece. |

hvnlyinnocent01 wrote:she's 21. i definitely agree with talking to him a bit more first, because a guy is going to say anything he has to at a bar to get a girl's number. and he seems to know how to say the right things. that's not maturity, it's knowing how to get into a girl's pants. |
