My parents used to use them all the time and they really work. I just checked and all the places listed in my area are gross places.

The only restaurants I like require like a $50 minimum purchase, cash only, no alcohol, no lunch specials, Sun-Thurs only, etc.

So what was the thing to avoid again? Some kind of survey?

Aren't they good at like chain-y, crap restaurants? Like Crapplebees and shit?

Just depends which one it is. The only requirement on the one I bought every month was the automatic 18% gratuity. I'm a generous tipper as is so that
doesn't bother me at all. We'd get a $50 meal for $27 ($25 off via certificate plus the $2 I paid for it). Totally worth it! Never ate at the
restaurant without a certificate.

Jrtismine wrote:You could email the gift cert instead of printing it out, but I wouldn't give them as a gift because they don't cover the entire meal. We've used them at two different restaurants, and while it takes about half off the price of our meal, the restrictions are annoying. |
