When I wear tampons they always leak. What might be the problem?

Maybe you need a higher absorbency. Playtex ultra absorbency does a great job.

The absorbency mentioned could be one reason. Another is you don't have the right brand for your body. Different brands and even different makes under the
same brand will fit your body differently. You might need to experiment with different brands or absorbency. It is going to be a trial by error type of thing.

Either you need a higher absorbency or you're not changing them often enough, most likely

I figured it was probably an absorbency problem. That or I'm not putting them in quite right.

How could you not know what was causing the problem? Did you just start getting your periods?

I deal with the same thing. so frustrating! I've tried numerous brands numerous times and I always, always leak. I'm sure I'm using them correctly
too. Maybe I'm shaped weird

Maybe you have a heavy flow and a wide-set vagina.

Agreed. It's probably the absorbency. But on my heavy days at the beginning of my cycle I ALWAYS use a really thin pad as well, just in case.

I always use a tampon with a panty liner. Sometimes it's not needed but on the rare occasion it is, it's nice having the back up.

I have tried them with panty liners and there's still too much leakage. Strange because my period is that heavy.

despite what people think they know, tampons aren't for everyone. if you normally flow heavy, you might be better off using the pads at the beginning of
the period and then as it tapers off, use the tampon.

They're really good. Dont exist in bloody England tho. Can only find them in France and Germany, my mum sends them to me. You either need bigger tampons or need to change more often, like every 3hrs. |
