Is lisping common amongst adults? I don't think I've ever seen/heard an adult with a lisp before, but my new co-worker has one. It was kind of
distracting, actually. My eight-year-old cousin has a lisp, but he has to go to speech therapy every week.

I don't think lisping is a common thing among any age group, but it happens. |

Don't most kids that have a lisp get sent to speech therapy? I had one in the 2nd grade, and the school sent me right away. It went away once my two front
teeth grew in, though.
I haven't encountered an adult with a lisp in ages.

I had a lisp when I had braces, and it sucked because I didn't get them off until halfway through my freshman year of college.

it's SO COMMON in Los Angeles. In Oklahoma where I went to school all the kids had to take speech therapy if they had trouble but I think out here that was
neglected.
