Not much of an update. He's feeling somewhat better, and he's not vomiting as much. But he's still in a lot of pain. He is a recovered alcoholic, and he has had a diagnosis of pancreatitis before (when he wound up detoxing in the hospital). The doctors have recognized his past pancreatitis, but the meds that helped him then aren't having the same effect. It's completely bizarre and exhausting. I'm worn down to the bone. I never realized what constant stress could do to someone. To make matters worse, the constant pain and nausea have sent him into a depression. He had this whole conversation with me where he has said that he has made his peace with God and that he is ready to die, and that he is really kind of wishing for it, because it would mean the end of his feeling so bad.

I would totally think that my sister-in-law could be poisoning him if she had ANYTHING to gain from his death. He doesn't have an inheritance, no life insurance, no job, no nothing!
