Depends on what I'm doing, but yes. If it's a house party, we get a bit dressed up (maybe a casual dress, perhaps just jeans and a nice top). If we go
out to one of the hotel parties here though, we get pretty fancied up - cocktail dress, heels, etc. Most of the venues require it.

It depends on what we end up doing. But normally yes, New Years is all about dressing up and going out! Cocktail dress and Heels.

If I go to a party or bar than I wear a dress but if I go to the cottage than just jeans and sweater

I usually go to a black and white dressy party with my best friend. But the people who usually do the black and white are doing a masquerade ball. And we
dislike. So we're just going to go to Times Square.
So a jacket and mittens |

New Years always calls for something sparkly.

Pretty much.
Except for two years ago when all my friends and I rented a cottage on Lake Geneva. I wore pajamas then. |

I'm going to dress up a little bit this year because I'll be in Disney and want to be fun.

Depends what I'm doing, I wore a dress last year because I went out, but it was a pretty casual dress. This year I will be in Norway and it will be about
-25 degrees, so yeah, I'll be wrapped up.

Normally, no. Friends and I have casual get togethers. I'm done "going out" for NYE.

No. I don't really go out for new years. If anything I'll go to a casual party. It's just another day to me.
