girls at work were saying they open at midnight but you can't cash out till 4am. Is that really true?

I heard doors open at 12 midnight but the sales dont start until 5am. its to reduce the initial stampeade when the doors open.

Is ToysRus doing the same thing ? Because on its ad it says doors open at 12 midnight but the doorbusters start at 5am ?????
