Please. It just missed its doggy biscuits while he was away. Animals aren't capable of having those kinds of emotions.
You must not ever have had any pets otherwise you'd know that's bullshit.
That is such a cute dog.

From the wife's reaction it doesn't seem like that dog normally acts like that.
How sweet is that! |

all animals have emotions, if one doesnt think they dont have them, then they should spend some more time with them. My cat sensed i was leaving for 4 months
and would just sit and stare at me for like 5 min straight the day i was leaving to go abroad. they are a lot smarter then u think

(I love this video and the others on the other website linked)
I do believe animals have emotions, we've had enough animals in our lives that have loved us and we've loved in return for me to firmly believe this, but (and I hope this makes sense) they aren't exactly the same as human emotions. With dogs, remember that they're pack animals we (their owners/family) are seen as members of the pack and (assuming the dog has been properly trained) the human head of the household usually gets recognized as the "Alpha" of the pack. So for example, my dog -- even though she's my dog and I trained her as a puppy and everything and she sees the entire family as dominant to her, she clearly recognizes my dad as the Alpha (she'll obey him more than anyone else). If a member of the pack is absent for a period of time (such as being in the military/deployed overseas), I would assume that's going to have a psychological effect on the dog, as would the return of that 'pack' member (especially if that person has been recognized as the Alpha). Like I said, I hope I made sense. |

One of my dogs even pees on himself when he sees my hubby (usually when he comes back from trips).

It won't let me watch it, it says it's private.
But whoever said dogs don't have emotions like that is an idiot. |

The link posted with the other videos seems to work. So cute. Animals definitely have emotions. My cats go crazy when I go back home to visit and they're
surrounded by people every single day that show them affection.

Whenever my family goes away on vacation and my dog sees the suitcases, he gets really depressed and lies next to the bags like he doesn't want us to pick
them up. And when we come back, his tail wags so much his entire ass starts to shake
Someone told me that the reason why dogs don't live as long as humans is because they reach a state of unconditional love much faster than we do. I'd like to believe that's true.
