So are you implying that an immature 21 year old is to be held more responsible than a 15 year old that has the same level of comprehension and understanding? That's bull.
And, until you have been in the same situation, as some people have stated in here already, and as my family has been through more than once (without the killing part obviously) then don't speak as if you know how you would feel or what you would do. And don't talk down to me because I don't agree with you, because I didn't do so to any of you. I don't give a shit how many books you read or who's school you go to...NOTHING in the world can prepare you for moments of rage such as this. Nothing.
And people asking us to imagine him pleading for his life and feel compassion. Try imagining him in the act of what he was doing to that BABY. That, you'll find is a lot more disturbing...
You need counseling. Things that happened in your past are obviously impairing your ability differ wrong from right.
You would shoot your son in the head if he was doing that to his sister/your daughter? I hope to god you never have kids.

Oh and Angel the same goes for you, don't presume to know anything about us and what we've gone through in our lives. I was molested by my
cousin at a very young age and guess what? I still don't think he deserves to be six feet under, yes, he's a disgusting human being but we let the law
handle the situation. The lack of compassion in this thread is disturbing.
