"You know what I mean." and "Know what I'm sayin." Mainly people who say that after every other word. And don't explain what the
fuck they mean. It DRIVES ME NUTS!

NickelodeonSucksLoL wrote:Well it is technically accurate, but the problem is that it's not usually what the person saying it thinks it is. If that sentence makes any sense!! I hate "Deja vu all over again." If it's Deja vu, it's already all over again! Redundancy annoys me. But the redundancy is the whole joke/point of that saying. Anyway, the one that annoys me is "I don't mean to be rude, but..." It wouldn't in theory, but in practice most people who've used that with me totally do mean to be rude but are under the illusion that the phrase somehow covers their arses and makes them immune to any complaint because "I said I wasn't being rude." |

I have a couple of managers who say "at the end of the day" ALL THE DAMN TIME. One of them does it because he mimics the first manager.
I know there's something else they say but my mind's blank at the moment. |

"to the next level," in any context. Like on DWTS when they say, "We're going to take it to the next level this week." It just ANNOYS
me!

I don't know that there is one particular phrase/saying, but I hate ANYTHING like "well, there's just nothing you can do about it" or
"don't worry about what you can't control". It's true, but it just seems so dismissive. Sometimes people just need to talk something out!
