When we were younger we always went to my grandma's and opened presents. Then we walk down this street called Peacock lane and look at all the lights.
Do you have any Christmas traditions?

We're 22 and I still live at home, but my brother who is 26 is required to come spend the night at our house
I don't have anything unique - Christmas Eve is always at my Grandmother's house. Christmas Day is at my house or my aunt's (switched off yearly). We open all gifts from my mom's parents and sister on Christmas Eve. Then Christmas Day, we open all our presents from "Santa" (which my mom still puts on the tag). We have to take turns. Eat a big breakfast. And then we exchange later that day with my dad's side of the family. Then we eat dinner at 2 or 3. And then it's all over and sad |

We have an annual Christmas party with my parents friends who they went to high school with. They all remained in touch and over the years everyone has had
kids. I grew up with their friends kids...there's 9 of us, 7 of which (including me) are all right around the same age. All together with husbands, wives,
boyfriends, girlfriends, and new kids, our group is about 35 people now. This year will be our 23 annual one, and we always do a white elephant gift exchange.

Christmas Eve my entire mom's side of the family goes to one of my aunt's (changes every year) and we have dinner, wine, etc and open extended family
presents. Christmas morning was always my dad's family to open presents with. Then for lunch all of us (again) would go down to my mom's parents for
lunch and then everyone would disperse and do their own thing.
This year is my first Christmas with my bf so I'll be going to his family's for Christmas dinner on Christmas Day. ETA: My mom and I always watch Home Alone, The Wizard of Oz, The (original) Grinch, The Sound of Music and for some strange reason, Schindler's List the week of Christmas. I'm not quite sure how Schindler's List ended up in there but it's our strange tradition I guess. So weird. |

On Christmas Eve we do a light tour of our town and then Christmas morning we open stockings first, then have Johnny Cake for breakfast and then open the rest
of our presents. Then we go snowshoeing and come back for a lunch of cheese and crackers. After dinner we play board games. It's glorious!!!!

We have like...no family. It's just the 5 of us. We order Chinese food on Christmas Eve and bake Christmas cookies. Well, usually it's me baking
Christmas cookies and everybody drinking and watching me. Most of the time we try to stay in the same room because we feel like we should.
My one brother comes home for the least amount of time required. We haven't been together for more then a few hours at a time...all 5 of us that is. I can't remember the last time. We're going away for Christmas this year so we'll all be forced to be together for a week...should be interesting! |

My brother and I get a new pair of pajamas on Christmas Eve. That's our only tradition and I love it.

Pizza on Christmas Eve, go to both sets of grandparents on Christmas Eve, my grandpa always reads the same 2 passages from the bible every year, then presents
with my parents Christmas morning.

Christmas Eve afternoon, me and my mum will back coconut bread for Christmas morning breakfast. We've been doing it every year since I was 5. I'm 22
now and I still look forward to it.

We always go on a ride to see all the Christmas lights on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve we have a ham dinner, watch Christmassy shows or movies, and then at
midnight open presents. On Christmas morning we do stockings and go to church. Then we do a big Turkey dinner that night.
