By just power walking on a treadmill for 30-45 minutes per day on different incline levels? (not sure how many miles that would be). I'm not a big fan of
running but I was wondering if you can still lose at least 10 lbs in a few weeks by by walking at a fast pace?

If you eat right, and depending on your weight, you probably could.

Yes. Many bodybuilders do this to burn excess calories. I do this too.

Assuming you aren't just leisurely strolling, and that you're not eating a pizza before bed every night, absolutely.

Weight loss is 90% diet. If you aren't eating right it's not going to do anything.

def- most times walking the incline and varying the speeds kicks my ass way more than just running. But the key to losing weight in general is to eat less and
more more. simple yet true.

I eat very healthy but I'm not in the stages yet of having diabetes so I can't take insulin, therefor I have to eat frequently to keep my blood sugar stabilized since I get hypoglycemic easily as well. This in turn has caused me to gain over 20 lbs in the past 6 months which is extremely frustrating and I can't do hardcore workouts since it will upset my blood sugar levels too much |

Talk to nutritiona/dietician and do the work out. Trust me, it is very effective. Bonus, it builds glutes and calves.

it's not so much about eating less in terms of skipping meals or things like that. But by making better choices on your food you will absolutely cut down
on calories you don't need. def get advice form a professional and good luck!

you can but you also need to eat right (like lots of salads and protein) I did it a few years ago and lost a few lbs in a few months..

I hate running, but I go to the gym often.. and a personal trainer friend of mine said that you can burn even more calories doing a speedy incline walk!

I saw your Halloween pic and you look great! Losing weight is a personal decision, though so I understand. I think you should be able to lose weight by
following all the suggestions in this thread. Good luck...I'm hoping to get back on track next week myself.

find out your bmr, you will then be able to figure how much you will lose due to calorie intake and exercise..
For example just to live, I burn about 1200 calories per day based on my bmi (that is with no exercise and no food) It takes a deficit of 3500 calories to lose 1 lb. From there you can figure out how many calories you need to consume and burn through exercise and your bmr, and calculate how long it will take you to lose the weight. |
