I thought this post would jog my memory since I can't think of any saying that bother me, but I think I've said all of these at one time or another.

add me to "it is what it is" which is such a load of empty nonsense. it's what stupid people say when they want to look intelligent but cannot
formulate a valid thought. vanity fair once had an article about this very phrase and its implications.
i also don't like "I could care less" since in most cases, people mean "i couldn't care less." |

I hate when people over 18 use the word "like" every other word. I met a guy at church--32 years old!--who did that. I think the muscles in my neck
were popping out around the 2 min mark.
