I run all the time, but it's getting to the point where I'm getting soo bored.
How many miles do you run a day? |

That's all you did? Run? Were you in generally decent shape before?

Running takes it off like THAT. It's amazing. I had a bad knee so I can't run.
Anyway, congrats!!

I jog occasionally, but it's very difficult for me. How do I build up endurance?

TR2119 wrote: Always set yourself a goal. Like, if you can already run a mile, try running a mile and a half the next week, and 2 miles the week after that. Just build it up. Don't set ridiculous goals, though. |

Does running make your more muscular? Sometimes I hear that's true and other times I hear that's not true because the female body don't actually do
that or something.. I don't want my legs to be too muscular..

Congrats!
Today I hit my 50 pound mark. I was hoping to make it in 6 months but it took me 6 months and 8 days. Oh well! |

Patti972 wrote:Thanks! Just a little of everything, but nothing in excess, if that makes sense. I don't eat steamed vegetables and chicken, because that would just drive me insane. (Though I'm sure I could've lost weight faster if I did that.) I just stopped eating totally shitty food. And I cut out diet soda. I eat a lot of ham or turkey sandwiches, pretzels, fruit, cottage cheese, yogurt, 100 calorie packs, etc. I've cut out most fast food but I'll still have a taco from Taco Bell, or a roast beef sandwich from Arby's. I don't eat french fries at fast food places but sometimes if I go to a place like Chili's or whatever I might get them with a grilled chicken sandwich. I've only had them a few times in six months now that I think about it. And then I started exercising. Mostly the 30 Day Shred, but I also do a lot of walking and jogging outside. I'm kind of hitting a wall so I need to think of something else to mix it up. I'm thinking about buying a treadmill from Costco.com so I can do some incline walking. It has the iFit cards which give you a customized workout. The Scentsy smells weren't bad, but overall I thought the bars/cubes were a pain to use. I hope you like yours, though.
