i can show you how to unlock an iphone 3G. Blackberrys are a little different as, as you need to acquire the IMEI code from your carrier, or purchase one
online

Unlocking a BlackBerry is just pointless. If you wanna use a BlackBerry on another network, just get the BlackBerry on that network. Unlocking it will render
it useless.

Are you using it on the same carrier it's supposed to be used for? If so, that's why. Because the phone is set to use the internet provided by that
carrier, it won't work on others.
