I don't know if that bothers anyone else. I think if you come late to a movie , you have to face consequences and sit apart from your friends. Anyway, the girls reluctantly moved down. They were very passive about it.

I went to see Blind Side yesterday on its opening day so theatre was crowded. This woman came in with her 3 other friends and went down to the middle of the
row where people were seated 2 and empty seat and 2 and empty seat. There were other seats in the theatre but I found it rude of her to go into the middle of
the row where people had stacked out their favorite seats and ask them to move down so she can sit with her 3 friends together.

I would have been SUCH a bitch to those people Not only were they late (which people being late is one of my big pet peeves), to ask someone who got there
first to move and accommodate your late asses would have had me saying not nice things.

While I think coming in late is ridiculous no matter what, it also seems that on an opening night people know it's going to be crowded and really
shouldn't leave spaces in between parties anyway. I think this one goes both ways.

One time I had someone come in late, ask me and my friend to move and then they sat there for maybe 5 minutes and then got up and moved seats. I was pissed.

I think talking and cell phones going off is worse but I can see where you are coming from. I used to LOVE going to the movies but every damn time I go people
do not turn there damn phones off and they constantly talk throughout the movie.
So I usually don't go much and if I do I wait till the movie has been out for a weeks before I go see it, then its not as crowded or bad in the theater. |

I thought it was a general understood rule that you don't sit next to another stranger in theatre unless you can avoid it. Kind of like the "rule" for guys when they use urinals. |

People don't seem to get that whether or not you're actually TALKING on the phone, it's still just as rude to open it so the light comes on and illuminates the entire theater. Thankfully her boyfriend smacked her hand and she put it down before I was forced to start yelling. If you can't sit in a movie for 2 hours without looking at your phone? Don't go to a movie. Or if you know you can't handle that, turn the damn thing OFF so you don't feel it vibrate.

There is also a sign before you GO to a movie.. it says.. NO TALKING, and TURN OFF CELLPHONES.. but I guess some people are just dumb!

I'm not a big fan of seeing movies in theatres, I would rather see it at home or whatever, where people's heads are not in view and you don't have
to listen to people talking and whatnot.

My theater is reserved seating. I think I go to a general seating movie maybe once a year.

That was rude of them to ask them to move. I always like to get there early so I can get a good seat. I would be pissed if someone came in late and asked me to
move.
