What're some decent hotels in Vegas? Not super expensive, but not super cheap either.

All I know is that Caesar's Palace is ghetto. Don't stay there.

Since when is Caesars ghetto?
I think it depends on how much you want to spend. I love Caesars (and I'm far from ghetto), the Venetian, Mirage, Mandalay Bay, and a few off strip hotels. |

My friend and I stayed at the Pink Flamingo in June for a couple nights. We booked it through travelocity and it wasn't too expensive. The hotel was pretty
nice too, or at least we liked it.

I stayed @ The MGM Grand. I loved it. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

Depends on where you want to be and if you have a car.

ones to avoid: Circus Circus, Luxor, Stratosphere.
I loved staying at the MGM, but next time I want to stay at the Mirage or Planet Hollywood |

I agree about Planet Hollywood. That was the one my friend and I originally wanted to stay at because we thought it'd sounded pretty cool.

MGM, NYNY, Luxor are nice and not pricey. Check out their special deals. Hooters has cheap rates, but the casino is super small and its a 5 min walk from the
strip.

I love the Mirage. It's not overly expensive but very nice. I'd stay there again anytime.

I'd stay away from Circus Circus, Stratosphere or Excalibur. I like the Luxor & NY NY.

Flamingo Hilton was pretty nice when we stayed there, and I liked MGM as well.

MGM is good, and surprisingly Sahara has nice rooms for cheap with strip views, and a good location.

I stayed at the Excalibur. The rooms were clean and decent... so not bad if all you plan on doing in your room is sleeping. Though if you want a hotel with
clubs and restaurants and such then Excalibur is a no.

I stayed at the Mirage this summer and it was really nice and decently priced. The bed was extremely comfortable!

That's funny about Stratosphere. The rooms weren't great, but I only slept there. I was out and about too much.
Now Luxor is not worth it. Consistently MGM has been good. |

I stayed at Paris last summer, I thought it was decent. I mean I don't know what our room rate was because it was taken care of but the pool was nice and
the room was good. We actually spent more time in Planet Hollywood next door to party and eat, I'd probably stay there if and when I go back.

In general Vegas is pretty inexpensive so if you find a place, ever as well known place, chances are you wont be disappointed w/ pricing. You end up going to a
bunch of the other Casino/Hotels anyway so really all you need is a decent bed.
