I stayed at the Stratosphere back in April / May and loved it. When we arrived we upgraded to the King Suite for only $20 extra per night. Well worth it. The
bed was huge and sooooo comfy. Room was sizable enough too. It's not a bad hotel if you upgrade for the comfort. Overall price was so cheap. This was our

I stayed at the Venetian in August, we booked it off expedia and we got a great deal.
Never been to Vegas before but the location was pretty decent, and I would recommend that hotel. |

I agree with staying away from Excalibur and Stratosphere. I liked the Luxor when we stayed there. They've got something going on where they are calling it
the newLuxor ( why I don't know?) and have some good rates right now. You can get into LAX for free (as long as no one has a party going on). The only
thing is that it is on the end of the strip, but for the price we paid for the room, it didn't bother us.

I would stay away from the Stratosphere based on its location alone, its too far down the strip
