Just got back from the movie theater...New Moon is definitely better than Twilight. LOVED it.

I felt like they left a lot of information out from the book but I thought it was a good movie. I didn't love it because I felt like the previews showed
everything & the story didn't flow well

As someone who has never and will never read the books, I was totally lost at the volturi(sp?) backstory...but that was probably because of my drunktard friend
who pratically ruined the whole movie (okay I was a little tipsy too
 ) . Anyways, it was definitely wayyyyy better than Twilight. Kristen's acting
definitely improved with this one and I definitely think she and Taylor had much better chemistry. I might've missed it, but I'm mad they didn't
actually kiss. I don't know if the movies will do a good job at setting it up, but if this is really the message that Stephanie promotes...what a fucking
idiot.

I loved it. It's so corny and fun, and it just is what it is... a teen vampire movie. People take this too seriously... Everyone in my theater was laughing
at the cheesy bits, and everyone was talking about how much they loved it on the way out.
The only complaint I have is that it was really choppy... I went with someone who had never read the book and she was pretty confused at times. |

I liked it alot
there were some LOL scenes like the "future" running thing... umm thats the future not 1800 wtf were they wearing and she looked worse as a "vamp" than she does as bella it was so dumb Also the water scene where she wasseeing him was lame-o I think what people are saying about taylors anger scenes arent his fault they were cheesy ass lines and even the best actor would have looked dumb saying them. I did however think mike newton was FANTASTIC he played his part the most like his character in the book... he was HILARIOUS and cheesy and I loved it I fucking love jasper and emmet !! I think laurent looked alot better in this movie... In twilight he wasnt pale or anything he looked like a regular black guy with red contacts, but in this one his makeup was much better. all in all i liked the movie alot SO much better than twilight. Ive seen it twice and will prob see it again! |

I thought it wasn't anywhere near as good as Twilight was. When Bella was screaming in her sleep, I laughed so hard. That was just shit acting! I don't
get how anyone can think that Kristen's acting got better. What movie were you watching? You could probably replace her with the Bella Barbie doll and get
more emotion out of that.

I saw Adventureland this weekend.
It was like watching Bella.....but at work in an Amusement park.....and no vampires. She's a one note actress if there ever was one. |

Edward did look like crap in this movie, but he was supposed to. He was so upset, it was only natural for him to look bad. Taylor was amazing. So was Kristen. I thought they tried a LITTLE too hard with the kissing scenes. It kind of sounded like Edward was having an orgasm I know he is passionate and it is
really hard for him to kiss her and not bite her, but still...it was a little much.
Also, Alice's vision..them skipping in the forest..a little too much Though it was interesting to get a glimpse of what Bella would look like as a
vampire. I can't wait to see a screen shot of that.
Overall, it was so well done...a great movie. You were really able to feel for bella..feel how hurt she was that Edward left her, and how hurt she was when Jacob didn't want to see her anymore. And honestly, I thought Edward was kind of a jerk for telling bella he doesn't want to see her anymore. I knew that he did that in the book..but in the movie, it was just cold. 
Can anyone tell me how New Moon the book ends? I totally forgot and I don't have it, so i can't go back and read it
