Its not too late, do you know how many times people have unprotected sex and no pregnancy occurs? there is a minimal window to actually conceive so just hope
and pray that your egg was long gone before you had sex, and none were released in the few days after.

This may be reaching, but maybe the condom broke after he took it off?

I sent the ass a text and he says "not to worry about it". He claims it didn't break. Wtf.

You should tell him not to worry about it and that if you end up pregnant, you're sure it won't be a big deal right?

I was going to say it could have broken when he took it off.

I told him that unless he's shooting blanks..there's always a chance. My roommate is just telling me to calm down and that I'm on birth control so
it'll be fine. I'm sorry..but I'm not so convinced.

You're on BC and we're having this discussion? Why didn't you mention that in your original post? You need to chill out.

WAIT... HOLD UP... you are on BC?
Why didn't you say that to begin with? I think you are stressing about nothing really... |

not to mention all the diseases you should "not worry about" It really sucks that you were responsible and used a condom and still get screwed over,
hopefully it will all turn out OK

Wow I think some people here love drama, I am serious also.
Yes BC is not 100% effective, but you were acting like the condom was the only protection you had and that you already thought you were pregnant lol |

Honestly, does nobody on this board have a single shred of empathy in them?
She's had a scare, she's worried, she wants some information to help her out. Naturally when you're freaked your brain isn't always running in 'calm and sensible' mode. Instead of talking down to her and acting like asses, try just giving her the information without the snark and the bitching. Because you lot being snotty about it ain't gonna help and one of these days, it could well be you who's having a panic moment and not being able to think with a clear head. Hon, the morning after pill is most effective for up to 72 hours after sex but should poreferably be taken in the first 24. If you were already on the pill then your chances of pregnancy are small, but just keep an eye on it and if your period doesn't show up immediately try a pregnancy test. Since this is an asshole who was seeing other people on the side, I suggest a trip to a clinic for some STD testing also.

Bc is pretty much 100% effective unless you aren't taking it correctly. If you have been taking it on time every day you should be just fine. The people
you know who got pregnant on the pill were probably doing something incorrect no matter how much they screech. I have heard people say that when they missed
1-2 pills a WEEK or took other medications that interfere with the pill.

You should relax. I know it sucks, and it's totally unfair that you were doing everything you could to be safe and he (probably) wasn't doing all he
could. However, the chance of getting pregnant in the first place isn't very high. There are only a few days out of the month a woman is fertile. Even if
you're irregular, you're still likely to be fine. It's a good thing you're taking birth control too, just in case something like that should
happen. Best of luck to you, and as others have said, I'd get an STD check just in case.
I know how you feel, because I have been in your position, but I stressed myself out so much that I made myself sick, and it turned out to be nothing. |
