I've never even heard of a page-minimum. Did you say what you had to say? Is there any way you could ramble for a bit? |

Nope.
Change the size of all your PERIODS to size 14. It will add length to your paper. You can put a period in find and replace |

Yeah, multiple times and I got full credit. Granted it's only one Professor I do that for. Every week we do like a 3 page paper (unless it's a week we
have a test) on how we agree/disagree with the views of a certain philosopher and often I write like 2 1/2 pages and I get 10/10 on it. He doesn't seem to
mind.

Yep. I was SO frustrated with a paper one time right before Thanksgiving break so I submitted it 2 pages short and got an A, thus informing me that the prof
did not read the papers at all because the 8 pages I did write were pure bs. I was so glad that I didn't stress myself to write two more pages. Plus the 8
pages I did write, I did everything in my power to stretch them out. I double spaced after periods and commas, did the "period trick" (thank you
JJB!!!) for both periods and commas, and double spaced between every paragraph which usually profs hate.

I was going to do the period trick, but I'm always paranoid that my professor will know the trick or notice that my paper looks weird or something
It's a 5-10 paper and I only have 4. Blah. |

Do you have to submit the paper electronically. Honestly if I was marking papers and worried that people would use these tricks I would just take the
electronic, highlight the entire thing and format it to the required font, size, and spacing...

Yeah I was supposed to have a 10 page paper and it ended up being 8 pages. But I received an A on it anyway. A teacher would rather have a paper that was a
page or two short if it was really well written vs a paper that had a few pages of bullshit on it. Just read through it and see if you can add a sentence or
two to each paragraph or go through and explain something you've already said with one or two more sentences and call it good.
If I was a professor and saw a student that made a bigger font I'd mark them down for it. |

You people are lucky if you get to choose your font and margin size. We have guidelines for those.
I also follow the guidelines because I am afraid of being marked down. |

Dylan taught character spacing on here once. It's saved me many times. My teacher now has a word count, though.

In college in grad school I was pretty good at coming up with an extra bullshit paragraph when need be. Glad that stage of my life is over though.
