That is how most of the medical scrub websites are. Or it's some other ridiculous offer like "Spend $275 and get $5 off your purchase!"

Some websites it's worth it. I purchased some stuff once off the JCP website and they were running a free shipping if you spent X amount. Well I had only
spent Y amount but my shipping costs made it X amount so I went back through the website and found a sweater I liked for the same price and got my shipping
free. Either way I would have spent the same amount but this way I got more out of it.

I know what you guys mean. It's only worth it if you were already going to spend near that amount!

That is why I like Amazon. You only need a $25 purchase for free shipping.

Eh, websites always raise the price of their stuff to accommodate the "free shipping" option, so it's never really free. I never pay attention to
sites offering it an incentive to purchase.
That is why I like Amazon. You only need a $25 purchase for free shipping. I bought a DVD set for $17 there, and with the shipping options, it came out to $21 and some change. |

That is why you don't buy stuff from Amazon until you have $25 worth of stuff you need.

KellySD wrote:Yeah, but a lot of people do, which is why there are a ton of sites dedicated to helping people find items for a few bucks so they can hit the $25 mark if they are just under it.

girl7here wrote:Well a lot of the clothing on sale adds up to $250, like two shirts or a dress , or a pair of pants and a shirt. Doesn't take much, even on sale, to add up to $250, imo. |
