True Blood is a great adult show. Vampire Diaries is a good teen show.
I like them both but it depends on what you are wanting besides vampires. |

True Blood. VD and TB aren't even in the same league IMO. VD can be entertaining, but it's definitely your basic teen show and it's not very
original. Having said that, I do watch both but I watch VD right now just because TB season 3 doesn't start until June.

I know! I initially had withdrawl for like the month after it ended, now I'm kinda okay. My withdrawl will kick back in around February/March probably
because then I'll be waiting for book 10 which doesn't come out until May.

I like both shows. It's different vampires and both have a good vs evil vampire and the girl who's human and fights to protect the vampires. I like
vampire diaries because of the interesting story lines and a lot of mystery too.

I think they're completely different. I like Vampire Diaries more, actually. I've read all of the True Blood books and like the books better. Where the
show differs from the books, it bothers me. I've never read the Vampire Diaries books so I don't know how the show is different...

If you're a sucker for a good love story go with Vampire Diaries. The characters are all well cast & have awesome chemistry
I tried to get into True Blood but just did not like it at all.......very dark, annoying characters etc. But I wanted a "Twilightesk" love story....which VD is (with better acting and better looking actors) VD is directed by the same guy who directed Dawsons Creek (very popular back in the day) so.....VAMPIRE DIARIES for me |
