How strict did JJB used to be? |

Here is a question for you old school JJBers. I have read where sex talk used to be banned, as well as naughty words. Was JJB really that strict? What were
some of the other original rules? Particularly those that have lapsed?
Was JJB ever as strict as the Clay Board? |

You couldn't swear on it and sex talk had to be mild.. but then again, we were all like, 14.

I think when I first started coming here you couldn't say ANY curse words or they were blocked out.

When I first came on JJB, I thought sex talk was banned because all the mods/admins were virgins and would get jealous.

I can remember when curse words were censored, and we all figured out that you could write something like "f<i></i>uck" and it
wouldn't be censored.

I used to lurk in the beginning of JJB, and it was very much censored. It was the first board I'd ever been on in which swearing was not allowed and they
took FOREVER to approve names. I think my name took more than a year.
