How far along are you?
I'm actually pretty lucky. I never had any painful contractions! I had my son two weeks early, and I just remember I had a very sharp uncomfortable pain down there so I decided to go to the ER. I was already 4 1/2 CM dilated so they went ahead and just admitted me to have him. They put me on pitocin to bring on the contractions, and I got to have the epidural right away. I know you're scared of needles, and I am too...very much so. I actually have hardly any pain tolerance..and I did well. I didn't cry or scream or
anything. I hope your delivery goes well, and I'm sure it will. I'm sure afterwards you will think it wasn't that bad as you thought it was going
to be! I'd do it all over again.

How far along are you?I'm 37/38 weeks. They're not painful, it's weird discomfort. Maybe a little pain but more discomfort.... like intermitten weird pelvic/rectal pressure and backache/discomfort. I know!!! EEK! |
