I actually write as well, but not novels. I write plays, but I'd still be interested to read about another writers process.

@ word2: Yep, it'll be at smaller bookstores (probably just here in Arizona to start) but right now, we're focusing on amazon & my official
website!

Just a question/suggestion though: Is there some way to change the description on amazon about the book?
Because to me it's kind of vague. I know that it's not supposed to give away all the details of the book, but as a potential buyer I'd like a little more information on it. Like, why did she end up in that new city anyway? Why is she isolated? And WHY must she fight for her life? And also how is the title relevant to the story? And I hope you are not offended or anything by that. It's just that lately I buy a lot of books by randomly browsing amazon and these are a few things I would like to know, you know? Other than that: EEK! That must be so exciting! Congrats on writing the
book and getting it published!

@Dodoo: Not offended!
Good question!
I'm leaving the rest of that to the reviewers. If I gave away any more than what I did, then you'd have the plot. But thank you! @Samantha: Thanks!! @ NameTwin

Congrats on achieving your dream
It looks good from what I can tell from the description.
Do you have the rights to your book? Or does your editor/publisher do? I ask because amazon says that the person that holds the rights can allow the book to be on kindle, and I'd totally buy it if I could download it in the kindle store. I think you could get a lot of copies sold that way. |

@ Kamadzea: Re: the Kindle thing -- the release will be done in 3 stages. This month (well, Dec) is paperback. January, it'll be available on Kindle, and
it'll (obviously) be cheaper. (I'll probably bump this thread when it is available) -- the in February, we're doing a mass-release for all of the
e-readers in all of the various formats.
@ Yankee: Thanks! I hope you do & you like it! |

@ Let's Hug: thanks! It took me about 2 months to do the first draft, and then I wrote two other novels. When I went back with my editors/revisions, it
took an additional 6 months.
@orange: THANKS! My brain is still floating around in the clouds |
