Surprisingly, we haven't. Only thing that happened is that someone got drunk and started popping off at the mouth. Maybe something will jump off tomorrow.
My relatives are crazy.

I wish we had cameras around our table tonight. We didn't have traditional Thanksgiving, only hoagies, but my brother was a fucking trip. I had to tell my
mom to shut up numerous times in order to stop a fight from breaking out.
Eventually, he got uncomfortable enough to the the point where he just left. Christmas should be fun since we're all going to be on a fucking ship together. The 4 of us haven't been together for more then 3 hours in over 6 years and we're going to be spending 9 days together. |

Nope, it was actually a very nice holiday and others in my life would be surprised. My ex-inlaws were over along with the ex-BIL and his girlfriend and then my
mom and brother. My brother and ex-FIL had a great discussion on RVing. The girl who would have been my future SIL...but still a friend...helped with dishes.
My ex-MIL was really nice and even gave me a hug (fairly unusual). I'm a little nostalgic now. My ex is in Iraq so that's what really allowed for all
of this. Next year will be different.

Nope, because my uncle actually managed to act like a human being for once.

My pregnant sister punched my little brother in the face for sticking up for himself. She's classy.

My brother had a few drinks in him and had the balls to ask my mom if she had sex with her new b/f. Talk about spitting out your diet coke...I almost had a
fucking seizure. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen in my entire life.

blackcherry wrote:OMG.....too funny and that reminds me of the time my MIL kept pestering us about more grandchildren at Thanksgiving dinner several years ago. She went on and on an on so in the middle of dinner my husband at the time just said.....I've had a vasectomy. My BIL about spit his food across the table at me, my FIL took a HUGE drink out of his wine glass and our 10 year old (ow 18) asked "what's a vastectomy?" Fun times. |

I guess after a few that kind of stuff comes out! I def. didn't need to know that my brother needs to get an STD test b/c he's had a few one night stands. Last Sat. he said he brought a chick back to his house for some fun. My mom is a "fun mom" but I know she was trying her best to be good. Hell, I told the kid he better double wrap his shit and I didn't think I ever needed to say that to my brother! Sex lives is something that I def. don't need to discuss with my family. I couldn't believe some of the questions he was asking us. Can't waitt ill Christmas! I'll have my answers prepared. I'm telling him I'm a virgin. |

That is why we don't have alcohol at large family gatherings. Less chance of people going off the edge.

My sister was in a mood, and she wasn't communicating properly, which is important when you're cooking together. She found a recipe for the yams, but
never bothered to let me read it, then half explained how to do it. I didn't do it right, and she got mad. That was after she went upstairs to shower and
left me to clean roughly half a TON of collard greens.
