You really must think your friend is pretty stupid if you believe she doesn't notice that she is gaining any weight and needs you to point it out to her.

Elephant? Why do you care how much your friend weighs and how is it your business? I'm sure he/she knows how much they weight. Leave it alone.

YellowStar09 wrote:Then she doesn't need you to point it out to her, does she? Now, if she was going around saying how hot she looked in her shirts and jeans that are 2 sizes too small, looking like someone out of PeopleofWalmart.com, then yeah, you should say something. But since she obviously knows that she has a weight problem, leave it alone. |

So, 90% of you wouldn't say anything. Me neither, actually but if you were to tell, what would make say something?

If she knows she's gained weight and she makes comments about it, but she hasn't done anything to try and lose some of the weight, then it seems like
it's bothering you more than it's bothering her at this point in time. If that's the case, then I don't think it's your place to say
anything to her.

I have a friend who's over 250 pounds, close to 300 probably and she keeps gaining. We were getting dressed and I casually said, "Dude, don't take
this the wrong way, you know I'm not a skinny bitch myself and I'm saying this as a friend. Have you gained weight recently?" And she was all
"Why would I take it the wrong way, I don't mind talking to you about my weight. And to answer your question, I have no idea. I don't
weigh myself." So I told her she looks bigger and then we went to Burger King.

Is this thread for real? WTF
How do you expect this situation to go down.. like 'hey, i don't know if you've noticed but you're kind of turning into a fat ass'? It's none of your business. Stay out of it. I'm sure she knows exactly what she looks like, as i'm sure she has mirrors and clothes. Unless you're her very best friend and extremely causal with each other don't even go there. |
