We're making reservations for a flight fr. KC to Seatttle to Anchorage for next Summer. We've been keeping an eye on plane fares, and that flight just
jumped $100. That's not due to holiday traffic. What's goin' on with airfares?!

I flew from California to Orlando on October 1st-3rd. For airfare, car and hotel cost me $506.
I just looked to fly from California to Shreveport Louisiana in February and its freaking over $900!! WHY??? |

the more you look, the more their "system" tells them its a high demand flight, thus the prices increase

Does anybody know if travelocity or orbitz or priceline etc. will give refunds?
Like if you book a ticket at a certain price through one of them, and then the price goes down....will they refund the difference? |

Orbitz does something like that with their Price Assurance thing.
"Once you book a flight or hotel on Orbitz, we start tracking to see if another customer books the same itinerary at a lower price. If that happens, we'll mail you a refund check approximately 6-8 weeks after you complete your trip." |

I think that would be rare. I've never seen a price difference between the online deals. They all get the same info.
