I have a 55" 1080p Panasonic plasma as my primary. It's a 10. The color is amazing, the viewing angle is extensive, the blacks are really black, the
TV has a great look to it, it has tons of outputs/inputs in convenient places, and the sound is actually really good. I don't need to use my audio system
when watching regular television, which is a huge plus for me as an apartment dweller. (I'm trying to be considerate to neighbors.) Like all plasmas, it
can get pretty warm, but it's nowhere near as hot as my old plasma Sony.
I have a 27" Westinghouse 720p LCD/DVD combo in my bedroom mounted on my wall. It's a nice enough 6, but I rarely use it, except to watch regular dvds when I'm falling asleep. |

We bought a 55" Toshiba LED last month and it's amazing. The quality of the picture is the best we've seen.

I have a Sharp Aquos, I'd give it a 7.
My uncle has a Pioneer though and it's like the most amazing picture I've ever seen |

There is no HD TV in my house. Some day we'll join this century.

I have a Phillips. I've only had it like a month but I really like it.
I would of course like it better if I had digital cable but I don't. So I have the standard cable hooked up through composite cables. I just had it hooked up through the antenna thing and it looked horrible so I hooked it up through my vcr and made it a little better. I do watch all my local channels through the TV and it's crystal clear which I love. It's very rare the signal goes bonkers. My DVD player is hooked up through a component cable which is pretty good. Way better than it ever was before. I need to find me an hdmi cable and then I'd be set with that. |
