The main difference is it is all played out on tv. There are MANY hotmess families in America. I'm sure they pale in comparison to others.

i think almost everything about the show is staged now. it was sooooo planned when Scott dropped & broke the plates full of spaghetti.
they're desperate to elongate their 15 mins. and Khloe's baby-talk voice in her interviews is despicable.

It's a TV show. Whether they are an effed up family or not.. a lot of stuff that happens on this show is probably set up. All about ratings.
