You'll eventually not want the Vespa and sell it. You'll then tell everyone, "I sold my engagement vespa because I no longer use it."

Do you live in a place where a Vespa would be really usable? And is it like, Vespa now, ring later? Or literally the Vespa will be a symbol of your engagement?
I have never thought of myself as traditional, but I will definitely want an engagement ring. |

I think if you're thinking about something practical vs. and engagement ring you should maybe think long term investment like real estate.
Ring vs. Vespa ... Ring wins. Ring vs. House/Condo/etc ... House/Condo/etc wins. Plus you can always use the equity in your home to eventually buy a ring if it really bothers you that you never got one. Or you can use the euity to put your future children through school but that is another "vs." thread. Hahaha |
