When you wake up each morning, be glad you have a roof over your head and food on your table. You are not homeless and living on the street or in a shelter.
Like my dad once said: Next time you are totally miserable, go down to the cemetery. Everyone there would gladly trade places. Also, something I heard in school: I once was depressed because I had no shoes. Then I met a man who had no feet. |

Yeah that works for a certain extent, but when morality is at an all time low it sucks...I just have become opposite of what I used to be it seems

Do you do anything that doesn't require money? When I didn't have a job, it was hard for me to stay focused on positive things sometimes too. I stayed
active as much as I could with little money. I went to the library, took some classes at Comm. College (at the school I'm enrolled if you apply for fin.
aid they waive your class fees), I baked a lot. Having a routine is key.

yeah butterfly I mean I have a gym membership but have barely used it, thinking about going to grad school but that's all the way in Fall--trying to even
get an internship to improve skills, but no luck so far.

Awww! Chin Up! You're in SF? I'm in Richmond! Almost Twins! I'm unemployed also, but chin up. Things could be worse. Think of all of the people who
didn't get up this morning

I exactly how you feel. Sometimes it's really hard to stay positive and you need to wallow for a bit and then you need to count your blessings.
