A few great matches today. Justine Henin continues her comback---she beat Dementevia (sp?) in straight sets---she won in a tie breaker----great game by the
way--- Henin will be tough to beat from how she looked.
Also James Blake lost in a heartbreaker to Del Potro---in a 5 set match that lasted over 4 hours. Anyone else watching? |

I felt a little bad for sort of cheering against James Blake the other day. I like him, but I wanted Del Potro to win. He's one of my favorite players.

Roddick is in to the quarters against Marin Cilic. They both played five stters (Cilic took Del Potro). I hope Roddick's knee is okay. He tweaked it a bit.
Fed and Hewitt play tonight. I guess I'll root for Fed this one time because I absolutely loathe Hewitt. |

Sad to see Del Potro go out. At least Djokovic (well, he plays later on today...I'll be cheering for him) and Roddick are still in there. I like Gonzalez too, but I was pulling for Roddick last night. He said in a post match interview that his knee wasn't a big deal, but they always seem to say something like that.
I was hoping Isner would pull an upset against Murray. I can't stand Murray.

I can't wait for tonight's (tomorrow early AM?) match: Nadal v. Murray. I hope Murray pulls out the win!! I really like both players, but Nadal doesn't seem in it to win it lately, and with his talent, it's a bit disheartening. |

Wow. I was not expecting that. Nadal is a maniac, but his body can only take so much. It's a shame. Only Federer can win in my book now.

Venus is pissing me off so much right now. She should have closed this match out long ago and now she's fighting to win. She can never get her first serve in----its making me so mad. And having like 10 double faults is ridiculous. Ugh. I cant even stand to watch the rest of the match.

Roddick really fought back, even with both his injuries. It's kind of sad he lost, but it gives him some time to heal. And seriously, he really has to stop "adjusting" himself during matches.
 I hope Djokovic wins tonight/early this morning, even though I do kind of like Tsonga. But Djokovic is one of my favorites so I have to go with him. The match will probably still be on live when I have to wake up early for my morning class since it starts after 3:30 AM here. |
