Cute! And I know being carried that way doesn't hurt the kittens but, damn! It doesn't exactly look comfortable. Especially when she was biting him (her?) on the top of the head.

my vet told me "scruffing" can release endorphins to help kitties relax and stuff. when we first found my kitty, Annie, our other one, Toulouse, used to scruff her all the time. that's very uncommon for a male cat! we got the distinct impression he was doing it to show her who was boss, though. |

Cute. When my cat had kittens, when they were small, she would let us play with them for a little while, then she would come get them one at a time and take them back. When they got older, one of them bonded with the dog. The kitten would lay on her back and the dog would chew on her head. The kitten would purr and knead on the dogs cheeks. I guess it was like a facial massage.

I love that - kitten's just like "Mom! Mom!" and she comes running to tell the idiot behind the camera to buzz off. And the way it tried to hide under her chin was sooooo cute

I've fostered/hand raised dozens of orphaned kittens and my male cat (once one of my hand raised orphans) always plays a mothering role with them. He's currently sniffing the speaker and crying at me, trying to find that baby.
He's such a good boy. |
