How do you like your Chicken Salad? |

My boyfriend and I were having a debate yesterday on how chicken salad should be made. He says just chicken and mayo. I like mine with chicken, mayo, celery, and some kind of nut(usually almonds). I know some people like fruit in theirs and I can't for the life of me see why, it just seems gross to me when people and most restaurants put grapes, apples, or cranberries in their chicken salad.

The only kind of chicken salad I like is made by a sandwich shop near me. I think it has celery and/or green onions, but it is chopped so finely I don't notice. It does not have nuts or fruit. They use tarragon for seasoning and that's my favorite part.

Yes. You still ask me how I like my chicken salad, and I responded that I like it as a chicken caesar salad.

Mayo, celery, salt & pepper. I'm a traditionalist.
Though I did try it once with apples in it, it was pretty good.

I like onions and celery in mine. If it's going on crackers I don't mind the nuts but if it's for sandwiches I prefer no nuts.

Chicken, mayo, walnuts, and grapes (and celery only if i have to

Depends on what I feel like.
I'll have it with celery and onions apples, grapes and nuts onions, celery, almonds and lemon juice I'll use low fat mayo or greek yogurt to mix depending on what I feel like. |

I like it both with or without fruit. I'm not really picky. However, I hate it if there is too much mayo in it.

My favorite chicken salad so far was all white chicken with tarragon and chopped pistachios. I loved it just plain on a bed of lettuce.
