Yeah it can definitely get gross really quickly
The other day I was on the bus at like 7:30 am, and there was this couple on there that were CLEARLY a very new couple with him spending the night at her house for one of the first times. It was early and I was grumpy, and all their making out and giggling about the evening before was pissing me off |

Small kisses = Yes. Making spit strings for all to see = No.

Like, little pecks is fine. Full on make out and all that shit is gross to me if you're doing it in public, I remember I was stuck in an elevator with a couple (just me and them), and they were full on making out, getting all touchy, and I believe he kissed her neck at one point, too. Longest 10 seconds of my life...

The thing I forgot to mention is she was VERY pregnant. They were not a young couple either. I would say 30's. I'm not even kidding you. She was even making like moaning sounds too. It was just GROSS. lol

the only time my bf and i would make out in public was early on in our relationship when we used to go to clubs and get drunk. we would be all over each other but that's typical behaviour at most nightclubs
i think public kisses are ok but public make-outs are not, especially in Sears! |

If a couple is going at it in the mouth, I'm going to stare at them.
Get that real judgmental look in my eye, raise one eyebrow, and try not to blink until they notice me. Nothing is weirder than a couple having a full make out session than a dude staring, quietly judging them with his eyes. |

Pecks on the lips or small kisses are fine. Making out is completely inappropriate. I remember when my daughter was younger, we were at a family restaurant and the two people in the booth behind us were going at it. I actually complained to the restaurant because there were 1) people eating and 2) children around. They were asked to stop and thankfully did.

In bars/clubs, whatever is my opinion. That's what people go for, in many cases, and as long as I'm not seeing hands/etc go down pants or up shirts, I'm fine with it. In "real" public, like on a bus, at the mall, wherever, anything beyond a short, sweet kiss is nasty and kind of disrespectful.
I went to a spa in New Mexico this summer that had a 2-for-1 type special, and my friend and I were appalled by what we saw. There were lots of older people there (it was a random Tuesday afternoon I think...), and then a few sets of high school kids who were dating. In some of the mineral pools, there would be 8 or 10 people total, and of that, 2 might be young kids over at the edge, making out with the girl straddling the guy. I'm sorry, but that is going to lead to some "minerals" being added to the water that I am not interested in bathing in. I thought it was super disrespectful, especially in front of a bunch of older people. |

Its usually young teens who make out in public. Last week i saw a high school girl grab a guys dick and was biting on his lip. Seriously gross.
