I don't have mine up because the year I graduated they decided to start putting the local campus name on the degrees, larger than the major university name for the first time. That and I hate my school and their stupid football team so I don't particularly want to be affiliated with their crap on my wall.
No big deal if anyone else does though, I just hate mine or I would put it up too. |

It's your degrees, you can do whatever you want with it. Be proud of what you have achieved.

I read this as 'My friend made fun of me b/c I have my DRESSES hanging up' and when I read one cost $40,000 and $10,000 I had to re-read and man I'm glad I did

Mine is on the floor at my parents' house
For me my degree isn't a big deal but I would never make fun of someone who had theirs hanging up. |

Some of you make it sound like it's bad to hang up Bachelor's degrees. Those are an accomplishment, too! My husband and I have ours hanging in our office at home -- we are proud of them! If either of us had something higher than a Bachelor's degree, we'd hang those up, too!

I don't even know where mine is at this point, but I'm also the person who has zero interest in going to the graduation ceremony and walking, etc. I doubt I'll do anything with the paper that says I got my MBA, either.

I would never hang my Bachelor's degree up. It's somewhere in a box. Most people get an undergrad degree so I don't think of it as any big deal. When I get a PhD, I might consider hanging it up, but I don't really need a reminder.

I have a BA, an MA, and will soon (well, relatively soon) have a Ph.D and I have no desire to hang any of them up. I am not even sure where the pieces of paper are. I may have lost them. I don't really know many people who do hang up their degrees anymore unless you are a doctor or something and have them in your office. I have never seen them just chilling and hanging up in someone's house. However, there is nothing wrong with being proud of your advanced degrees.

We all have our degrees hanging up too. My piece of paper cost $80,000. Damn straight it's going on my wall!

mine are in a box somewhere. I'd hang my master's degree in my office but I don't want to come across as pretentious to my coworkers. I'll wait until I have a higher level job before I decide to do that.

Eh You worked hard for those. You have the right to staple them to your ass if you want to.

Mine is on a bookshelf displayed with other items from my time at college. I'm damn proud of where I went and graduating with a degree.
