If he wants to prove it isn't...why not a DNA test? Or is he gonna go John Edwards on this? It'll lead to him getting a "raw deal" for his divorce settlement because it proves infidelity.

But if he's claiming it's not his, why would you go out of your way to be in the child's life? I'm not one to be in my father's mistress's face... Now, if he was taking care of the baby and had the child in his life, that would be a different story.

Why wouldn't you? I mean to each their own, but I would want to be in my family's life. I have an older half brother who I am so close with. We are 10 years apart and didn't meet until later in life. It still upsets me to think of all the time we missed out because of adult drama getting in the way. The only people affected are the children.
But if you want to pretend the kid doesn't exist, that's on you. I just hope a child never has to find out one's family couldn't be bothered to know him/her. |
