My sister was on a bottle until she was 5. She's my mother's baby and she only used it at night but she refused to give it up. Then right before she
started kindergarten we threatened to tell her classmates that she still drank from a bottle and that killed it right then.

How is the child drinking 6 bottles a night. Does she sleep?
So many things wrong with this situation. |

Does it say she's not potty trained? Because even if a child is potty trained at 3 and a 1/2 they usually wear Pull-Ups or something of that nature at
night. I don't get why she's drinking 6 bottles during the night though.
My sister slept with my parents on and off until she was about 4 when my dad had had enough and put his foot down. |

Wow, if its all the issues mentioned in this post I feel bad for the poor kid. She needs better parents.

That doesn't mean not potty trained though. If she's drinking 6 bottles of water at night there is no way at 3 and a 1/2 that she could get up and go
to the bathroom all during the night.

She pees in the bed at night because of how much she drinks. That is a tremendous amout of fluid for a child, and that child is quite overweight. There is just
no way with all of that liquid, that that child is NOT going to pee all night.
My daughter was potty trained at 2 years, 2 months and she was good to go. No diapers at night, nothing!! If they are truely trained they have the control to stay dry all night. |

When I first saw the picture it looked like a pregnant woman sucking on a bottle not a 3 year old

Is that just a bad picture, or is that kid as big as she looks?

Wow. She needs to get that mess under control. Just take the damn bottle away from her and give her a sippy cup and be done with it. sure she'll cry for a
second but if her little ass is that thirsty she'll drink out the cup. My 18 month old cousin doesn't even drink out of bottles. And that baby should
not be drinking so much during the night.

another one the minute she cries out. It is just a vicious cycle. She simply can't fall asleep and stay asleep without that sucking sensation.

They tried to have someone teach leah to not give the bottle but she gave in to the child and let her have the bottle.
