Producer J.R. Rotem has lured superstar Britney Spears back to the studio to start on a follow-up album to last year's Blackout.
The producer, who dated Britney briefly last year, has teamed up with hit-maker Sean Garrett to work on the album, and he insists that the pop star is back to her best, after a mad few months in which she was repeatedly hospitalised, had numerous car accidents, and engaged in a vicious custody battle.
He says: "She's great. She's like a master at what she does. She's a lot more experienced than most people. She just has the 'it' factor that not every artist has.
"It's always nice to work with her."
The producer also famously sent the bogus text message that suggested Britney might be pregnant last year. But all of that seems to be behind them as a source confirms that they are working on the
"experimental stages" of a new album together.
And hit-maker Sean tells People magazine, "I'm just happy to see her back and recovering. She's really shaping up and getting her whole situation back together. I'm really proud and happy to see her."
