do they work for envelopes, or do they have a certain value to them? that is, if you put a forever stamp on something you are mailing, do you still need to
weigh it?

I was just told about forever stamps the other day. I didn't even know they existed. How much do they cost?

I think they stopped selling them just prior to the postage increase.

they are the same amount as whatever the stamps cost right now.
But if the amount of the stamps go up, the Forever stamps are still good. |

$8.20 for a pack 20 at 42 cents each. But they will never be good even when stamps go up again.

they still sell them, but the only way they do you any good is to buy a ton now and save them for years and years until the postage goes up and then you use
them then for the price of what stamps are now instead of the higher price.

Yes, forever stamps are still available. And they're $8.40 for a book of twenty or $7.56 out of the kiosk in the post office because there's only
eighteen in them.
