I know everyone loves Canon's and that's what I would prefer to buy but to get what I would want would probably be over $300. There is a Nikon in Best
Buy for $200 and it has 10MP and a 5X optical zoom, but I just don't know how good Nikon's are because I've never had one.

Yep. People usually put it up there, with or right behind Canon.

May I ask why you need more than 7MP? I have 5 and I am a photographer, my pictures are all amazing. If you need proof let me know! I also blow my pictures up
and make posters..

I have a Nikon Coolpix L15 with 8 megapixels which was much better than the two Canons I had before. I will never buy another digital Canon (but definitely a
film camera). One of the Canon's needed to be repaired by the manufacturer less than a year after I bought it. It broke and it took me 2 years to figure
out what the problem was. When they sent it back to me it could finally take a picture, too bad the auto focus was pointless.
I got another one from work with more megapixels to see if I could get around the auto focus issue. It had the same problem. I took it to museums and the zoo. Out of 200 pictures 10 of them would come out in proper focus. I have a lot of experience with cameras and do photography as a hobby. Those 2 Canons are the only ones I've had issues with. |

more Mp does NOT equal better camera, especially in pocket cameras. 10mp is only really relevant teamed with a large professional grade lens.
In smaller lenses/optics, more MP usually equals more noise (blurrinesss) but camera company marketing has tricked most people into thinking they NEED more MP |

Actually I took a bunch of pictures from around my house before we moved and they came out in this awesome blueish color because of the time of night I took them and I really loved that. So I recently found the cd they are on and uploaded them to Snapfish to have them blown up and it said it couldn't be done. I'm going to try a different web site and hope it can be because I really love the pictures, they're sentimental for me and I wanted to have poster sizes made. Do you have any pictures you could share? I'm always looking for wallpapers for my computer. HayHay38 wrote: No blurriness? |
