I've gone to get a very specific style of acrylic nails probably 10 times, and I've told them what I want, and they never come close. Today I took a
fake nail I found that showed exactly what I wanted...color, shape and length. They were very short, slightly rounded, french manicure with a buff color and a
very thin white tip...they were perfect, but in-store glue on nails just don't work for me. So I took in the nail and asked them if they could do it, and
they said sure. I came out with long nails with pinkish red bottoms and long white tips...square. Aaaagggh. I was so frustrated I just left because this is
the nail salon our whole family goes to and they are tired of the fact that I never like what they do, but when I don't go, they get upset. I figured it
would be different this time since I had an example.

It isn't difficult, I don't know why it isn't getting done. If they can't do it, why don't they just
tell me that?
