One of my cats just started howling, which means he was going to puke. I grabbed him and rushed him to the kitchen floor so he'd throw up on there
(lenolium = easy to clean.) He kept wanting to run over to one of the rugs I have in the kitchen, to puke on there instead.

They just do....My cats do it all the time. My dog too. They want to go to the rug/carpet because it's harder to clean and get the stain off. Grrr..

I'll even chase them around w/newspaper or a paper towel and put it under them and they STILL find ways to miss it

soaked through the comforter, sheets, mattress cover, etc. All my other animals always throw up on carpets too...very annoying.

Yeah, my cat will be standing on the linoleum in the hallway, while puking on the carpet in the living room. Little bastard

One time, I grabbed my kitty and put her in her litter box so she can throw up in it. She ran from it and did it in the living room instead.

I usually put them near the sink, then all you need to do is flush it down the drain. They do at times go on the carpet or the rug (which is easy to clean),
but I usually use window cleaner to clean it up and it tends to get it pretty good. The one is cute after she throws up on the floor, she looks at you like she
didn't mean to do it.
