The Clinton Wars - Sidney Blumenthal (one of the lawyers for Bill Clinton -- VERY in depth. This book is like 500 pages.)

Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot - Al Franken
What's the Matter with Kansas - Thomas Frank (thorough analysis of why working-class people vote Republican)
Naked Pictures of Famous People - Jon Stewart
All the President's Men - Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward (inside the breaking of the Watergate story)
