Bummer! Just so you know, there are decals that you can put on your windows to discourage birds from flying into windows. They are made of a material that they
can detect but it's almost invisible to our eyes. There are also more opaque decals that you put near the bottom of your window for those birds who might
see their reflection whilst perched on your window sill. LMK if you want links to these products.

Thanks orodwen. It's weird because it's not even a big expanse of glass - there are panes. And they're fairly dirty.
